Can anyone help, still looking for the following, have included some thoughts.
all are names of public houses, Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance Quiz, closing date 12 November.
7. Burning marks on animals, heraldry.. cannot find a pub with Branding as part of its title.
30. Fifteen on snooker table, pepper or water.. thought it might be the Red Mill but cannot find a pub with that name either.
31. Colour of lawn and stalls in town, tavern.. green, market inn ?
32. ---, larger than hamlet, become a barrister... The Village Solicitor.. anyone ever heard of a pub by this name.
35. Sing at Hogmanay first three words, a sailor.... maybe something Tar
39, 23rd & 1st, lived long time +e, fires balls.
cannot get anything for 23rd and 1st.. I think the end is olde cannon?
55. ---, paint the face with rouge, ---
64. People always on the move, put snooker cue on. something Table?
108. In the northeast & bottled beer, on a signpost.
118. Small village near Torksey or Speke in Devon, beer, my home... something Ale House.
