The strikers should be ashamed of themselves.
Didn't Margaret Thatcher sort the unions out, and look at the flack she got from that?
well I think it's your union buddies running the strikes sunshine. Would you like us to make striking illegal?
Santa must have granted Jezza his Christmas wish.

Almost a spontaneous reply from TGT,as expected, jumping to the defence
of the Con party, just like a rat up a drain pipe.I new this post would spur him into action.
Can’t help feeling there’s something awry with someone who relishes social upheaval.
it was an easy rebuff, gulliver, perhaps you can tell us what you think the government can do. It's your union buddies striking. Do you think strikes should be illegal? I asked this above perhaps you could engage your mighty intellect to answer these questions.
Why should they be ashamed of themselves Naomi?
Because they are creating turmoil - and in some cases misery - for people.
you seriously need to ask that islay? really?
Striking is not an easy decision but sometimes if t&c's are so bad then it is the only option left to people.

misery! bit strong no one is going to die from Argos drivers not delivering a package, or the trains not running a couple of days.

A bit dramatic Naomi!
Islay, you have clearly never tried commuting long distances to and from work when services are disrupted - or non-existent. Misery!!
Islay, before you go any further look up the meaning of misery, death isn't mentioned.
No Thatcher didn't sort the unions out, she oppressed them and thus the working class fir ehom they were a voice and their only influence against abuse.
islay; ".... if t&c's are so bad then it is the only option left to people. " -err, no they could try getting a job they like, it's a free country they don't have to do that job, do they?
Once again Naomi you are making assumptions about me please don't!
a valid assumption though, Islay, based on your attitude to people have misery imposed on them by strikers. You must have loved the winter of discontent.
still waiting for gulliver to deliver his wisdom.....come on gulliver, get the brain cell fired up son!
I wasn't in this country during that period
Islay, if I'm making assumptions about you perhaps your ability to communicate with the written word is at fault. To clarify your position you only need to say you have commuted long distances to and from work and experienced the misery that disruption - or non-existent services - creates, and hence you speak from personal experience. It's not difficult.
