Transferring money out of paypal?

Anyone who knows about and uses paypal, if I haven't verified my address or done that thing where you get a number appear on your statement or something and you show its on your statement it improves your account. I haven't yet added my bank account to my paypal account, how long will it take to me to transfer �50 from my paypal account to my bank account. Will I need to somehow verify my bank account with paypal, or my paypal account address or anything before I can transfer money out of paypal into the bank account? If so how long does this verification take and then how long does the process of transferring the money from paypal to the bank account take, is that instant?

I have used Paypal for a couple of years now - and I get my money transferred in to my bank after around 5 days.

I believe that they will transfer the money without confirming your address but I may be wrong

Cheers Oneeyedvic, any idea if you need to verify your bank account somehow before you can trasnfer money into it? I haven't added my bank account details to my paypal account as of yet.

pretty sure that I didn't - but that was also before they were regulated by the fsa - they may have changed their procedures since.
