remember the basic guidlines.... dont give too many personal details, if you do meet, make sure its in a mutual very public place!!!! let someone know who you are meeting and where you will be going.

I have met three ppeople through internet dating, two are very nice and we remain great friends. The other however was a con artist and took a large amount of money from me before disapearing.

All I can say is on the first meeting obey the guidlines as littlemissx has said, and meetings after that be carefull and don't leave any opertunity for them to obtain any bank or credit card details.

I know at least three people who are now married happily through meeting on the net.  I think if you really talk to someone for a long time you get to know them really well, better than a normal 'date'.  Also you can use the cam and see them too.
