Lightweight Upright Cleaner

Hi, although I've never had one before, am thinking I need an upright cleaner as both of have bad backs..the new carpet is thicker than previous carpet making the cylinder cleaner hard work.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an lightweight, efficient, upright cleaner please.

what is your lifestyle like? Have you got pets for instance?

Just the 2 of us, no animals.
I've always preferred a cylinder cleaner but needs must, if were to continue doing our own chores.

take a look at gtec then...I like mine for fast whizz rounds but its not up to the mess my dogs make.

We recently bought this and I'm very impressed with it.
I have a bad back and shoulder pain and wouldn't want to use another vacuum cleaner.....ever.
