Lgw-Baku Via Istanbul, Tbilisi-Lgw Via Istanbul.
Hi
I will be doing the above flights next month, both via Turkish Airlines with a layover at Istanbul in each direction.
I think that Turkey was one of the countries to where iPads etc. had to be put in the hold but I don't know if this is (a) Still in force, (b) For both directions, (c) Whether it applies to stopovers or only to direct flights, and (d) are any other items prohibited?
Grateful for firm info or website containing rules in case they change again before I go! I really don't want my iPad confiscated!
Thanks for any help!

The rules only apply to inbound flights from Turkey (as well as from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Tunisia) but they do include the relevant sectors of flights to the UK from elsewhere when a transfer in one of the countries I've listed is included. See here:...

My understanding is that the restrictions in relation to Turkish airlines have been lifted in late July but I would advise contacting the airline to confirm.
Turkish airlines also had a system in place to take devices at the boarding gate and store them securely during flight so it would not have been necessary to put in hold luggage if you did not want to. Again, contacting the airline would provide clarification.

^^^ As far as I can see, the only current exception seems to be for travel from/via Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen airport:
