Inspired by Sunny Dave's "good business names", how about a daft signs thread?

Here's a couple for starters - both seen on the back of vehicles. But dont limit yourself to vehicles.

A veg delivery van "No carrots are left in this vehicle overnight". (You can tell I live in the sticks)

Variation on a theme (seen on the back of a sewage lorry) "no stools are left in this vehicle overnight".

Over to you........

Canal Street, Manchester - notorious Gay scene. Someone tippexed out the C and the S and we were left with "anal treet."
LOL...love the Anal Street.......didn't get the second one.

I think that this might work

A lorry was stuck under a local bridge, sadly before camera phones!

It belonged to Anglia Windows and their slogan at the time was 'Perfect fit every time'.
Sqad, a man from Seaton Carew fakes his own death in a canoe and starts a new life in Panama. It was quite a famous case 10 years ago.

if not this should https://postimg.org/caturday/

Oh!........right...;-)
There's a Far Lane in Sheffield, someone's added a T.
anyone else see the funny one on facebook this week - I know it's not helpful that I can't post a link - it was a picture of 6 tough guys in Florida post hurricane, all carrying guns and on the wall behind them daubed in paint was 'all lotters will be shot on sight'.

Underneath was another picture of an otter with a beret on and caption
'l'otters are not afraid'
Made me laugh out loud...
Lol Prudie.

Often its the "edits" to such signs which make them funny - eg Melv's example.

That's brilliant Prudie.

An old one often seen written on the back of a dirty white van is "I wish my wife is this dirty". Very often someone will write underneath "she is".
On a lawn layers lorry, on IOW

"Lay turf, and Soddit"
one of my faves is the road-work mega lorry on the motorway.

'keep left' says the words but the sign at the back is pointing right.

Wish I could find it!
Sheffield Electricians this is on their vans apparently....

Myc*ck's Electrical
Mazie!!!

must admit, that's darned clever! x
