I want to take my son to learn to ski next February half-term. It will be his first time; I'm also effectively a novice as I've not skied for over 25 years (a one-week school trip).

Any recommendations as to where we can both learn, preferably at the same time/in the same class?

My preference would be Italy, but don't really mind where.

My brother and I both learnt in Alp D'Heuz, perfect for beginners as blues everywhere, not sure about the skiing in Italy as only been there once but France has some great places to learn :-)

Thanks, Typhoid.
Is there a dry ski slope near you where you could get in some practice before you go?
Try Andorra. Nice place and tax free shopping
Try the Neilson website, great descriptions of places/facilities. Don't book with them though, too expensive. Just use their site for research!
