Freezer White Powder

Just moved a freezer for a client and white powder is ‘leaking’ from one of the back rubber pipes.. any ideas?

Something to do with erosion/corrosion perhaps?

Seriously though, could it be limescale that has accumulated? If it is one of those american types with ice/water, we have that problem.
