The simple misunderstanding is that he is some sort of nutcase who objects to bills for some perverse reasons of his own, which stops laws being passed.
The reality is that Sir Cristopher objects (and that is his right as an MP) to Bills which he believes should receive proper scrutiny and debate, rather than being nodded through.
People can, and do, say that his action is wrong, but his reason is a valid one, and he believes it is a point of parliamentary principle to act as he has.

Zacs - // As I said above tho, AH, there are some things which need no debate. FGM and upskirt shots are two examples. What is there to debate? //
I agree entirely, but Sir Christopher obviously feels that further scrutiny is in order, and exercises his parliamentary privilege in order to see that it is applied.

Andy hughes...but he does object for some perverse reason of his own...without considering the damage both mental and physical to these girls he votes against a new law...honestly others would say girls need protecting as soon as is humanly possible and say that there is no real need for debate as the protectionwill be delayed and that shouldn't happen....he does also vote for private members bills on occasion and it is suggested these are bills suggested by his friends.
