Ghat's The Godalming / Milford Area Like?

Anyone lived in the Surrey Hills or more specifically Godalming / Milford / Farnham side please and is it nice? I've never lived in that neck of the woods or even visited much so would like to know x

My family live in both Farnham and Guildford before I was born and they have fond memories. We are going back 40-odd years though.

Thanks. I've been to Farnham which seemed nice LCG, but never really spent any time around there but I've seen a house I like and wondered if anyone knew the area intimately before I bother going to see it. x

Oooh thank you, that's looks very like around here but within an hour of London which is more or less what we want. Will have a look then :) x

The whole Surrey Hills area is pretty nice. Handy for London and the coast on a summer day (West Wittering beach)

Yeah that what we want, something airport accessible in under an hour, central London accessible in under and hour and a nice little run to the coast with a low crime rate and pretty stuff to look at :) x

I live in leafy Surrey not far down the road from the Devils Punchbowl.
Good access to railway stations when running. Not that far from Gatwick or Heathrow. Very pleasant countryside.

I love it here but it literally takes you an hour just to get out of Herefordshire from where I live.
