1) My oldest friend has found out that there is nothing untoward on her lung xray (even though the radiographer told her that there was)

That's good news, 237. They probably discussed the scan at MDT and decided that whatever was showing represented infective changes rather than a sinister picture.
She is a nurse practitioner and specialised in COPD but the (junior) radiographer indicated that she saw "something" and wouldn`t let my friend look at the x ray. Anyway, she was wrong and there was nothing there.
After the third time of trying, I finally got some parsley to germinate:-)
My health is good, my husband is a very caring man and I have lots and lots of friends + the best family ever, I have RTBC every day I wake up
All the leave I had planned and has been cancelled can be carried over for the next 2 years.

Went for a lovely walk by a river today, didn't see a single other person, just lots of flowers and wildlife
She wasn't terribly worried because she is used to breaking bad news to patients and could tell from the radiographer's demeanor that it probably wasn't a cancer anyway. I did worry a bit though.
5. Almost forgot the most important one. Have found a good new replacement for the now banned menthol cigarettes.

How lovely, Prudie.

I haven't smoked in years, Gness, and don't miss it terribly, but when it was mentioned about Menthol cigs the other week, I had a moment of nostalgia....

I used to love a menthol cigarette.
Oooo gnesswhat have you found
Do tell Gness, I'm still wondering which of the suggestions to try from my thread about it.
Started to go a bit bonkers living on my own (A short journey indeed ;-)
Just back from beer shop (best person to person coversation I've had all week. albeit very short)

Still alive, fit and well and i now have some essentials in the fridge.
I had held my today's delivery slot with Superkings Menthol in the hope they'd come. They were substituted with Mayfair Superkings Sea Green. I have only tried one and though not quite as minty as menthols they are fine. I really don't like ordinary cigarettes and if I'm going to smoke I want to enjoy them.
I may still stick them in a jar with the menthol crystals I had ordered ...not crystal meth as I told the family til Dave put me right...but I'm happy enough with these. I have cleaned out the village shop who sold Consulate and will alternate in the meantime.
