Good Morning Early Birds!

It's stopped raining! how long for remains to be seen. Wall to wall cloud, so not for very long methinks.
The hedgehogs braved the weather to come and have their supper. I watched them tuck in, five of them.
My walk along the lane was enjoyable, as ever, I never tire of the view across the Severn Vale. Cloud still over the Welsh mountains, it looked like it was raining still over there.

its really odd weather wise, cool but not so cold, and cloudy blue skies. Don't know what that portends for the rest of the day at all

Me neither emmie. The sky is a flat greyish blue. I can just about make out the hills, they look quite eerie.

I'm okay, thanks, just frustrated at my lack of mobility. I really need to wash my hair today, it hasn't been washed in over a week.

It's typical that it's our first opportunity for a lie-in together in ages and we're wide awake at 4am. Sigh...

Chance would be a fine thing, Emmie. We've got people coming to do jobs today. The new bathroom is being plastered, the gas is being reconnected and other jobs are being done here and there. No peace and quiet for me today.... x
