Try http://www.edinburgh.org/: http://www.edinburghcastle.biz/accommodation.html: http://www.visitscotland.com/ and just call listed b&b's for avilability - don't rely on the websites being up to date.

Some of the accom. will include a pass for hogmanay street party. If not try at http://www.edinburghshogmanay.org/ as you need to have the pass for the street party. If you want to hang around until the bells, you can get away without a pass, but it will stop you moving about the city centre when the barriers are in place.

Edinburgh is always really busy over Hogmanay. The best way to book B&B accommodation might be to phone the Edinburgh & Scotland Information Centre on 0845 22 55 121. They might charge a small fee for making the booking for you but it may well save you many hours work trying to do it yourself.
