Sorry to upset your evening, but I have personally seen the decline in Tuna over the last few years. Here we get ships coming every one or two weeks from the seychelles to unload frozen tuna for canning and I have been watching the change in the cargos year by year, each ship brings around around 3000 tons.
Maybe ten years ago the tuna would be about two metres long and maybe 30+cm across the wide part of the body and two men would have trouble to lift one - now they are about 50-75 cm long and 10-15 cm across and you can carry one in each hand!!
