I posted on here a couple of months ago to see if I could find out whether my daughter's boyfriend had a criminal record. She has since ended the relationship, but has told me that he did have a criminal record although she didn't know until after they split. Now he is being a nuisance by ringing up several times a day and saying that people are 'out to get her'. Is there anything I can do about this? I have been on to BT to stop his calls. Is there anything else?

obviously it depends on his 'record' but would informing the Police be wise, especially if his conviction was for violence or threatening/abusive behaviour?
If he has been making genuine threats then inform the police. They will check his background and assess the situation in light of that. I'd report it sooner rather than later as well if you want it to be dealt with effectively.

i presume your daughter has told him she doesn't want to hear from him anymore

Make a log of all the times he phones and what is said. make sure you save all his text messages, emails etc.

Let the police know he is doing this. making threats and continued phone calls is harrassment and doing the above should help ensure a conviction or at the very least a retraining order.

i would contact the police i had something simular happen and the police were really helpful .
