I'm writing a report and have need the answer to this question. If your adopted, is it possible that if you found your biological parents and they wanted you back, you would be allowed to go back to them if you consented? And if for some reason you had to go back to an adoptive family, could you go back to the one you left? Thanks!

well, the example person we are writing about is 15, and the story is she's found out she's adopted, found her real parents, theyd decide they want her back, and she wants 2 go with them. Her real father abuses her, she's hospitalised and wants to go back to her adoptive family. I need 2 find out is this a possible scenerio? country is the uk.
Surely the whole question of adoption not only relies on the law, but on emotion. If I were an adoptive parent I wouldn't want my 15-year-old son or daughter to suddenly tell me she's leaving to live with someone who rejected her all those years ago. But I doubt the law would allow it anyway. Naturally when they came of age they could do as they wished, but wouldn't be a slap in the face to the couple who'd cared for them all that time?

yer c that's exactly it, we need not only to mention the aspects of legally, but the emotional ideas. my opinion s mayb u cud b angry and go back 2 ur bological parents 2 get back at them but in the long run, it would be awkard and you;d want your adoptive parents who cared 4 u
