Looking at this short video an accident is waiting to happen. Vehicles swerving to the left from behind the 4 protestors may not be heeding the bikes in the inside lane.

Can you imagine the hue and cry when a driver hits anybody? I noticed several of the same posters: "We are not going to die quietly" Hmmmm...

The attitude of the police towards the protestors appears to have dumbed down again.

obstructing the highway is a crime, they should be arrested and dragged off to a flowery, end of.

What gets me, TTT is the police command from above. A while back the police seemed eager to get them off the road and disperse them quicker. Today they are just walking in front of them and allowing 4 people to take up 2 lanes, for goodness sake.

No problem. We can all purchase ear defenders and watch themselves martyr themselves in peace. I have a few spare sets for sale or EARs are waxed earplugs going cheap. Why in Gods name hasn't anybody taken these criminals to one side and knock the bejesus out of them for being very annoying and naughty criminals.

Even if they got 100% of their demands it would make no difference at all. They are therefore disrupting our lives for no reason. Other levels of scum at least have a reason however perverted. I hope one day that someone has had enough and just runs them over.

Jaywalking is a&$$%& ridiculous law that fails to treat individual citizens with respect or even credit them with common sense; only found in nations whose citizens clearly can't be "all there". No adequate or better nation would ever even consider suggesting it.

Highways Act 1980

(1)If a person, without lawful authority or excuse, in any way wilfully obstructs the free passage along a highway he is guilty of an offence and liable to a fine not exceeding £50.
(2)A constable may arrest without warrant any person whom he sees committing an offence against this section.
