Watching House of Commons debate this afternoon.

PM answering questions on the current situation in Gaza/Israel.

While he was speaking Oliver Dowden and Grant Schapps were engaged in whispering and laughing behind him.

Glad they find the situation amusing. Especially Schapps who is Jewish.

You don't know what they were saying.  Doubt very much they were laughing about the war.

I didnt think it a time for laughter in the middle of a serious commons debate.

You did ask 'Is the Israeli conflict funny?' and say you're glad they find the situation amusing.  Just saying I doubt it was anything like that at all.  I doubt it very much indeed.

A Jewish man, MP or not, might laugh at the situation where the villains in a confrontation, and who have been the villains for more than 70 years, seem to have the support of most of West's politicians.

Sandy is a reasonable person and yet he seems to have a hopelessly one-eyed view of this particular conflict. Anyway, probavbly best not to start a whole row about it on Chatterbank.

I think the question was in poor taste, to be honest especially the comment about Shapps.
