Labour lost 24 council seats in by-elections so far since July, 23 have gone to the Tories. Looks like Labour will be toast next GE.

Desperate, desperate 'journalism' once again from the Daily Excess.

Anyway, more Arctic blasts coming? New revelations on the Paris tunnel?

Another four and a half years of Labour in power ain't it good

... then out for another half century, just like last time.

11:29 it's good that you have now accepted that they'll be a one term wonder.

“…it's good that you have now accepted that they'll be a one term wonder.”

A one-term blunder would be more appropriate.

However, I don’t think the Tory party needs to worry about Labour. Voters will abandon them in droves next time out and thankfully we shall have another generation or two of voters who have been educated in one of the most valuable lessons in life that many people seem to have to go through.

More of a worry for the Tories will be who those voters who abandon Labour will settle on.

If 23 out of 24 were Tory wins then, even appreciating these are by elections and not necessarily how they'd go in a GE, it like we are in danger of the uniparty getting in again next time. Let's hope that folk are hiding their real intent under their 'bushel basket'.

'bushel' an autocorrect? 😏

Not heard of hiding your light under a bushel ? From somewhere in Mark IIRC.

Luke & Mathew too, apparently.

By the looks of it the right wing vote will be split between the old school Tories and and reform UK next election.

Nothing is certain.

And, unless a miracle happens, to which party are disenchanted left wing voters going to switch ?

A few to the greens, libs, and both of the others.

I suspect not as many as you might hope though.

I don't know. As I said, nothing is certain.

far too early to predict

Jesus I hope the blanket bushel doesnt catch fire and er burn the widow's muff or something - - a sshe sleeps

yeah OK it was a bushel of wheat  - sozza

The mistake/failure reform has made is that it's distanced itself from the Tories rather than taking them over as Maga had done with the Republicans.

Hence the vote will be split.

They seem to be taking them over, one at a time 😉
