I just wondered what weird and wonderful hobbies/collections other A/Bers have, I have a beutiful collection of wooden drinking vessels, tankards, chalices, goblets, from all over the world, all shapes, sizes and designs, when I drink at home, only out of wood, tastes much better, but what do you collect, come on, spill.

hi lonnie, im in a tiny little place called bradford, which is in west yorkshire. did your friend go to the cliff tennis classic, in december? i did, its the last one of all. i already have my tickets booked for cliffs concert at birmingham in november, i,ve only seen him twice, but would like to meet him close up and get a big hug from him.
This is really sad , I collect erm , cough - trolls ! You know , the horrible little troll dolls with the grey wispy hair and beady little red eyes ! I've collected them since I was about 16 and it started at school when a friend told me that it was good luck to rub their belly three times , make a wish and kiss them. Yes , sadly , I have kissed a lot of trolls over the years !!! I have many trolls now with various little outfits on eg wedding dress , karate suit , scuba diving gear , kilt (well I had to get one with a kilt , I am Scottish!) My hubby hates them but hasn't dared to issue me with an ultimatum re him and the trolls , probably in case I pick my trolls ! Well I met him at 19 and i've had the trolls since I was 16 , so that's a tough call !!!
I used to collect Blue & White porcelain which increasingly started to cover every flat surface on which I could display it. Then my parents died and I had to clear out their home and garage which had accumulated a lifetime's junk and "stuff" It took me six months and completely obliterated any enthusiasm I had for accumulating unnecessary material goods. Now my collection is collecting dust in a box the loft and I prefer uncluttered surfaces. But I would hate to part with our collection of classical organ music which is now becoming so big it will probably take the rest of our lives to listen to it all.
