In two words, each with the same number of letters, did a former Prince of Wales jestingly refer to Kensington Palace.

I may be wrong but I think it was Edward Prince of Wales ..later the Duke of Windsor ..who referred to it as the "Aunt Heap".
You're right! it was monikered 'aunt heap' by Edward Vlll due to the amount of royal relatives who stayed there.
Yes I thought so..here we from the Telegraph..

It was described as the "aunt heap" by Edward VIII because it was used to accommodate so many royal relatives.
