half term help for a lancashire lass!

we want to take the kids for a day out on friday. is there anywhere in the north west of england that would amuse a 2, 4 and 12 year old? Does such a place exist anywhere?

going to a fun swimming complex with slides is good for a family of varying ages as they always have a part especially for younger children too. Then out for a family meal at a pub with a play area afterwards.

hi , there is a zoo in Barrow in Furness in south west cumbria that is quite good they are famous for tiger conservation and you can watch the tigers feeding ( they put the food at the top of high wooden poles so tigers have to climb up and catch it like hunting in the wild ) you can also touch the snakes and all the usual zoo activities
