Best Village in Britain
7 Answers
I am moving to the UK. My work allows me to live almost anywhere there. I need to be able to get to London within a day so not off the Scotish coast.... I am wanting quiet surroundings and a village like atmosphere. Thoughts?

These villages are among the Surrey Hills. So everywhere around is really beautiful. Its only about an hour and ahalf for London yet so amazingly un city like. A lot of people communte to London. Anywhere around here has great community spirit and a lot of the villages are lovely and peaceful. Everywhere is close to Horsham and Guildford too so you have 2 good towns for shopping. The centre of the villages are usually the beautiful cricket greens. These places seem just like what your looking for, the only downside would be that round here is expensive. if u have any more questions then i'll help - im very knowledgeable of the area!
