No you can't, you have to pay for it. Sometime www.ancestry.co.uk allow free access (usually whilst 'Who Do You Think You Are' is on the telly) but I don't think they are offering this at the moment.

There is bmd.org.uk which has some lists free, but two of their servers are down at the moment so it is slow.

Ancestry.co.uk is now offering a month's searches for �9.95 which is better value than their �4.95 for 10 searches (if you have a common surname like Smith or Jones, you can use that many up in half an hour!).

Try the mormon website familysearch.com, that is free and you can get some really good leads.
