i had a mate who grew up there and he wasnt too keen on the place

the town centre is a total eye sore. although there is plans for it to be upgraded.

i am working on the new college which is nearly completed there is a 24hour tesco extra,it has a very good lesuire centre although its not pretty from the outside, its very good inside. 15mins to Glasgow, and depending on which area of Cumbernauld its actually quite nice...

I love brutal concrete structures but even i would be hard pushed to say Cumbernauld is 'nice'.
I think i would go as far as saying its 'horrible'.
