St Stephen's Day Or Boxing Day, What Do...

I just wanted to thank all of you very kind answerbankers who gave me so much advice and support when I had to bring my beautiful Keela to be put to sleep 4 weeks ago.
Your advise was so helpful and it made me much more calm when we had to go through the process. Although I wouldn't like to go through it again anytime soon, I was strangely calmed (and nearly relieved) as soon as she went to sleep. I think that it was only then that I realised just how long I had been so stressed/worried about her getting too sore or distressed.
Although I miss her terribly, I know that it was the right thing to do and as one of you guys said at the time "better a day too soon than a minute too late". That is soooo true. It is also true that finding the strength and bravery to make the decision to put your beloved pet to sleep is the final act of kindness that you can do for them. She went to sleep just as she would have if she was lying on the sofa at home!
So thank you all for taking the time to help me through such a difficult time. It helped more than you will ever know.
Kindest regards
Shivvy
