Does anyone have any strange nicknames or funny stories of how they got them?

At our P.S. one of the girls surnames was Armstrong,and her nickname was "Legweak" !!

I have no idea where it came from but my name's Kat short for Katie short for Kathryn short for Katarina, and I also have so many nicknames (e.g. kitta, kitkat, kata etc.) I'm not surprise if I get very confused!

My mum calls me Claire Bear and my dad call me Monst'- as in short for monster. I was 11lbs when I was born so my dad used to have lots of fun, showing me off to his friends as his 'monster baby'. He'd give me a huge slice of ham from the deli counter as a prop (he loves me really) x

I was called "Stuttering Sp*stic" at school.. Kids can be so cruel ! I laugh about it now ... its a sort of stammering laugh.. but hey .. who cares.

i spent 25 years calling a guy 'Bawsi'. i met him about a year ago and he asked me why i called him this. i said, i didnt know, just because thats what everybody else called him...i also said i thought he must have had big baws!!!!(scottish slang for balls!!) he told me everyone else called him ozzie because his surname is Osbourne!! OOOOOPPPSS!!!
