If shanks has been married to his wife for 25 and is now seeking some advice on coping with this health problem - which for a couple IS a problem for BOTH / ALL the members of the household when it get serious...
I have been told by family that in addition to evening primrose, as recommended above, vitamin B complex can be very good as well as camomile tea...

pmt is a thing that women cant control. I suffer from it, and know when I am being like Sh*t to others. Its like a jekyl and hyde in you. And know it must be difficult for somone to put up with too. But believe me, us women cant help it. Vitamin B helps. Primrose oil. Sometimes a mild antidepressant can help too.
My mum never suffered from it, and she can never understand how bad you can feel.
Ask your wife to see the doctor. It will help both of you.
