Can anyone tell me if I am likely to get bank holiday pay if I am working somewhere on contract through an employment agancy?
Just want to know the legalities of the situation, am I entitled to pay?

Obviously it is a big incentive though, because not many people are happy to work on what would otherwise be a holiday day, for the same rate as a normal working day. The best thing to do is ask the question of your employers (Agency).
Hi - I work in accounts & payroll for a family run business which is a bit like an agency.
They don't have to pay you more for working on bank holidays but if you have been with the agency and worked with them for more than 12 weeks. (not necessarily every day) but in bits to show you have a reasonable employment by them, then you are entitled to a paid day off with any holiday pay. BUT the agency would or should have given you some terms and conditions when you signed with them about things like this
