Appleby Gypsy Horse Fair

Does anybody know what happened to the old guy that used to bend iron bars and swallow chains Etc. at the horse fair. He was there for years on the corner of the caravan camp up until the last couple of years, Probably croaked with old age by now, but would like to know.

This gentleman was Mr Johnny Eagle. He was a distant relative of mine. I last saw him at my mother's funeral in 2001. He died a few years ago.

Johnny Eagle was my great grandad, he died in 2001. he was always at appleby every year and im glad you remembered him!
