Here's a question I've just thought of and don't have an answer for myself yet...

You're dead, ok? What would you like to be written on your headstone?

Hmmm, must go away and think about that...

I've always fancied: "What the heck was that all about, then?" (Except that the opening two letters of the third word would not be 'h.e'!)
Billy Connolly once said that he wanted this in very small writing on his tombstone "Get off! You're standing on my head" as for me...i think i'm for the burning but if there's a memorial somewhere then it will have to be this, "SFT42 aye he wisnae a buddy at aw so his wisnae"
My wife has suggested that mine should be - "Don't Worry About It" or possibly :I'll Look At It Tomorrow"
How about "I told you I was ill..."
Free your body and soul,

Unfold your powerful wings,

Climb up the highest mountains,

Kick your feet up in the air,

You may now live forever,

Or return to this earth,

Unless you feel good where you are!

There's a prize for the first person to spot the hidden message.

It's an acrostic, isn't it, Cactus? That is, the 'message' lies in the sequence of the opening letters of each line. What's the prize...What's the prize!?
Here lies an Atheist All dressed up And no place to go.
I'm Dead Jim. Reputedly on the tombstone of DeForest Kelly (Dr. McCoy/Bones Star Trek)
I'm told that there is grave on the rocks at the bottom of Niagara Falls that reads "Here lies the body of Jonathan Blake. He stepped on the gas, instead of the brake" I think a sense of humour in the darkest of times is important.

That's about 5 sites i've seen the headstone one on now - six including this one! Quizmonster wins the prize though, and the prize is... an invitation to the next party being held at Michael Barrymore's luxury mansion - bring your own water-wings. (recommended)
I wouldn't miss it for the world, Cactus! My swimming-trunks are already packed...jist gimme the date. (Are you his social secretary, by the way?)
i'd like mine to say "5 more minutes.....please!!" thats my favorite phrase when my sisters trying to get me up for college then perhaps "ill see you all there".
I've never forgotten the tombstone message i read taken from inside a Cornish church - "Here I lie by the chancel door, they put me here because I was poor, the further in the more you pay, but here I lie as snug as they." Personally, I've asked my family to donate the bits they can use, and burn the rest.
Personally I'm up for donating and burning as well. But how about.... Here lies the hypochondiac who cried wolf once too often. Or.... Finally I know the answer to the Ultimate Question!

"Dead? - So What?"
(From the blackadder series) "here lies Edmund Blackadder, and he's bloody annoyed!"
personally i'd go for "What are you looking at?" or "Get off my land!"
