Macca_86 the best route is ben nevis, scafell then snowdon - snowdon is the easiest so a nice finish to the challenge. Obviously Annie will be well organised doing it through DofE, but if doing it independantly, make sure you have a good support team, competent drivers and map readers, a first aider, and at least one experienced mountaineer and orienteer. Plus you will all need to be very fit, a strong team, and well prepared with reagrds to equipment.
Annie456 I went to snowdon may bank hol weekend - saturday was beautiful, sunday a very low mist descended over the top third of the mountain (we did it twice). Snowdon has extremely unpredictable weather and it can suddenly change making ti very dangerous. Just last week a young man who my brother know died there.
Make sure you know some survival techniues as mountain rescue are urging people not to rely on mobile phones as safety devices.
Best of luck though and post back your time after you have done it - along with any tips you can offer for us in July! You will have a great time - I won't be doing the challenge but even just climbing snowdon was exilarating - it will be a fantastic acheivement - best of luck and stay safe :-)
