don't know if this works but u can just see the house above those autumn trees

Hi funky, I live in the country,in a beautiful part of Britain, North Wales, I love it here,I moved from London 26 years ago,I won't be going back, but it is my ambition to live overlooking the sea, Heaven.
Luckily I look out of my back garden over 4 miles of rolling countryside. All I need now is a sunny day and a beer!!
Countryside for me, and like sddsddean my garden looks out over fields towards the fells so I'm very lucky.
A croft in the outer hebrides

Countryside for me too. Live in rural North Norfolk with fields all round me. (And the sea and beautiful protected coastline is only 10 miles away).

Am a Londoner by birth but nothing would drag me back.

House on the coast for me, Lamorna Cove a few miles down from me in Cornwall or around Trevose Head on the north coast will do nicely, thank you very much!
A house in Whitby would suit me just fine!!
There's nowhere more beautiful than the cotswolds.
We live in a gorgeous old manor house in England and I love it, but my heart still yearns for a little cottage we have in Ireland almost right on the beach, it's so basic as to almost be a shed but I'd happily live there:)
by the sea in a secluded part of the country!!

Definately here

north West everytime!

wait a minute, whats that picture? its meant to be the local fell!
Glad you explained the ICEMANSAV, i was left a little puzzled by that to say the least!!! Cool helmet though!!!

not by a river, it would probably flood,

not by the sea -what with all that the melting ice,and the sea level rising,

Nowhere with a garden - you wouldn't be allowed to water it

Not in a town or city - drunken violence, drugs, murders, muggings etc.

not near a road - too noisy

So I suppose it would have to be up a mountain in a remote area, oh no! too much risk of someone breaking in to steal my meager savings/murder me/ kill the dog set fire to my house with me in it!

All these things I see reported daily on the UK news, doesn't it present a pretty picture?

I think I will stay where I am.

What locked, trembling in a bomb shelter?

Come on out and live a little! :c)
