I think it is the pure embodiment of our celebrity culture, which exists and is highly profitable, so is not going away any time soon. Just let it all wash over you, it's only three months of unavoidable saturation coverage.
Oddly enough, the last post on (before I post this) says "no one forces you to watch it" which is true, but that isn't a problem for me - if I don't like something, I don't watch it.
BUT we are forced (at least I am in work) to listen to the morons who do watch it constantly going on about it. I can quite happily live without BB and not condemn those who do like it, but what I object to is them trying to ram it down my throat vicariously.

who do you think cares whether you like it or not?
nothing you can say will make people start or stop watching it.
if you don't like it, don't watch it, no one gives a sh*t.
