Hi all, just wondered whether you could give me a quick rundown as to what 'Chatterbank' is (or was)? It gets mentioned a lot on here, and I just wondered! Thanks :)

It was a quasi-chatroom not unlike B&S today, and part of AB. It was full of abuse and swearing (and quite a lot of friendly chat too) and the Editor got tired of spending her days cleaning it out, so closed it down before she went on her Christmas hols. Dedicated CBers have ever since then been trying to recreate the atmosphere of late night dirty jokes and character assassination. Ah, nostalgia!
