ive only been to the stones once, it was a freezing cold January day. the wind was houling and it was hailing.
ive got to say i was impressed. cant say it was mystical, but i felt something inside of me that made me wonder. there was a strange sence of "how, why and when ?"
anyone else been there and had a "feeling" they cant explain ?

Now I tell people that it's not worth the money to go there.
Been to Avebury last year, though.
And there I felt what you are trying to explain, I think.
The rocks aren't as big, but they make up a huge circle and you can go right up to them.
In my eyes much nicer than Stonehenge.
