There is an emigration quiz that you can take on the Australian Immigration web site which will tell you whether you have enough "points" to qualify for emigration. http://www.immi.gov.au/

as an aussie in london i can tell u the first place to start is to contact the aust high commission on the strand in london. they have gr8 info packs for immigrating with the all the things u need to know and things u need to consider before applying. they're always busy but they are very helpful.
