What made you think of him Rugeley?x

i was sitting in the hottest van in the world today and he popped into my mind? i thought to myself...... i wonder if there is anyone still chasing him?
LOL. You nutter!x
Hopefully, he's signing on, just like all his fellow unfunny "comedians".
Besides the impressions of him in Who do you do, I'd never heard of him in my life, and never seen him to this day, and certainly not on TV. Has anyone?
I was dragged along to some night spot near Camberley ,was it Lakeside? He was the warm up for the big 'turn'. I have to say he was funnier than the star act - You could feel the tension as he picked an absolute brute from the audience to be his stoge for the night, it was a classic.

ruggo (danno)?? whats that all about??
Hopefully someone chased and caught him with a 40 to juggernaught LOL
Hey RB - my parents once went to see him in 'cabaret' in Aldridge, vaguely near you, in the early 80's. In their defence they didn't know he was the turn for the evening. They could have left it there but no, my mum, enthusiastic as she is, got me his autograph with 'Chase Me' written under it! I still have it in their attic somewhere, obviously waiting for Norvelle to be recognised as a comic genius of our time, when I will sell it for a fortune on eBay. The camp to$$er!!! ;-)
Duncan married a Barnsley lass last month. He has been living there since last summer.

He is about to start a theatre tour with Frank Carson, Norman Collier and Mick Miller. He then has a short stint on th QE2.

Went to Jethro's club on Saturday night, (22nd Nov 08)David Copperfield was unable to appear & so Duncan Norville stood in for him. It was so funny, we were all glad that DC couldn't make it. I would certainly like to see Duncan again.
re my above answer:
In fact Duncan was funnier than Jethro who is selling his club & moving back to Cornwall & retirement in 4 weeks time. He wasn't on top form like he used to be, no doubt winding down for retirment.
