Do people with brown eyes see the same colours as people with blue or green or hazel eyes? I mean, how do we know, cos we all learn that the sky is blue and the grass is green, but what if i see the sky as a particular hue and someone else sees it totally differently - we would still know they are different. For example, i may see the sky as the colour you see the grass, but because it (sky) has been named as blue, then everything similar to that hue would be also blue...do you get it....?

If you imagine always looking at things through a colour filter, the colour seen is different from the real colour but you would accept the colour as being that seen through the filter. Both you and someone else would still use the same words for the colours each sees because you know no different.
