This morning on GMTV, it said it was ten years since they first appeared on live telly. My question is, who was it that actually gave the girls their names Scary, Posh, Baby, Sporty and Ginger? I have often wondered if it was started by journalists or their own people to give them some individuality. If anyone knows it would put my mind at rest. lol

It shows the impact they had, that everyone still knows Victoria Beckham as 'Posh', after all this time.

Rather like referring to Sir Paul McCartney as 'ex-Beatle ..." when I would have thought that by now, anyone who hasn't been living on Jupiter for the last forty years would probably know who Paul McCartney is, without that little qualifying preface to his mentions in the media.
