Were there any news reports on TV showing his swim and especially him reaching the other side?

Didn't see any, but he was interviewed on Richard and Judy and said there is going to be a programme on next week about it. I can't remember what side it is going to be on though.

The programme is on next Thursday (13 July) BBC1 at 8pm!

yeah that was a stupendous achievement considering that only 10% of attempts allegedly succeed. I thought i had missed the news item. Hats off to him......

It is great to see a personality actually putting some effort in to achieve something for charity. He's a real star in my book, loved him before, but now i admire him greatly too!
