caught carrying c s gas and heroin

what would a female aged 30, in terms of prison be facing after be found carrying 1/2 ounce of heroin all bagged up and a can of c s gas, she also has 2 children, is it likely a custodial sentance, she was also found with scales?

Surely her solicitor should be able to advise her.

I believe 7 grams (0.2 ounces) is considered the maximum amount necessary for personal use in the latest Home Office thinking.

As your 'friend' was carrying more than twice this amount, I would assume she will be classified a 'dealer' and any punishment will take this factor into consideration.

The carrying of CS gas canisters is illegal and they are classified as offensive weapons according to the attached Met. Police site. Punishments can include a fine of up to �1000, imprisonment, or both.

I would hope a long,long time, I have no time for drugs,and this woman would obviously be looked on as a dealer, as for the children, does she deserve to keep them anyway ???
