I am travelling to Canada soon, and I am planning to take cigarettes. I am 17 and I know that you have to 19 to buy them in Canada but, I would like to know, will I have to declare them when I go through customs in Canada, as I will only have about 50 or 60 cigarettes? and How old do you have to be to buy a lighter, as you are not allowed to bring them from the UK by airplane.

If you are only taking 3 packets of cigarettes there will be nothing to declare.
