Who do you think is better looking , Brad Pitt or Robert Redford in the 1960's? My boyfriend has just asked me and I think Robert Redford, he was less baby faced.

Robert Redford. But the most beautiful man ever was Paul Newman. He looked like a Greek god. Check out 'The Hustler' and 'Cat On A Hot Tin Roof' you'll see what I mean. ps. Marlon Brando comes a close second.

Oh come on! You can't begin to compare the two. Redford had (still has) class that Pitt can only dream of.

I am going weak at the knees here - definitely Robert Redford, Brad Pitt is just a little kid to me !! However, if it was a toss up between Robert Redford and Paul Newman, then, like Sithlord, Paul Newman would win (check out Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid or The Sting, both top films). Ooooohhhh....

Exactly (how was Derbyshire WM not chatted since u went) Redford in the white navy suit sitting at the bar in The Way We Were, gorgeous, tho i was a huge McQueen fan for many years, for looks Redford has it. Loved him in Jeremiah Johnson too, he was all hairy and rugged but still looked better than Brad.

My fave McQueen scene is a toughie, for humour it is the scene in Towering Inferno with Paul newman when they are deciding who should be the hero, for drama, the Bike jump of course, for romance, him and Jaqueline Bisset, they were so understated, but the tops is in the magnificent Seven when he jumps on the hearse with Chris and they take the coffin up to the cemetary. Sorry, Dotty Digresses.

there is not even a comparrison in my opinion. Redford was the epitomy of a truely beautiful man. (the way we were in THAT uniform) Brad Pitt does nothing for me!

I agree with WM..Steve really had something!

However, as I have to choose between Brad & Robert I will have to go with Robert..not just in the 60's either. I wouldn't need to be offered a million quid to sleep with him.

Paul Newman too...hmmmmmm.

oh yes pippa, Paul Newman was the most gorgeous man ever to have graced our screens. Those eyes, im swooning just thinking about them! He is still a very handsome man now. My all time favourite film star! Redford was my 2nd favourite..
