Famous people

This question may have been asked before but I want to ask in my own, special way :P
*** What famous people have you seen in real life doing normal things like shopping...? ***
*** Have you ever approached a celeb for their autograph or just to say hi, or maybe get a picture with you? ***
*** How did they respond to you? ***
I just ask this because today, me and my mate saw the two hot twins from Hollyoaks in the Trafford Centre. I'm gutted we didn't ask when we had the chance.
I've also seen Beckham. That "Robbie" who used to be in Eastenders. I'm sure others which I don't remember but i'm interested to see your comments :P

Turned out to be Robin Wiliams, he actually thought we were stalking him but when we explained we wanted his space he was fantastic, stood and chatted for a while, cracking jokes and gaves us his autograph and allowed us to be photographed with him, a great guy all round. I have also met Johnny 'whats another year' Logan while out having a pint, another absolute gentelman with a great sense of humour, My friend went up to him and said 'you're Johnny Logan aren't you? I saw you perform in Dungannon in 1982', to which he replied 'yes I am and if you have come for your money back your are too late'. Priceless!!!
I thought I saw Michael Flatley (RIverdance legend) crossing a zebra crossing in Salisbury outside Burger King once...
...But I was four so I may have been mistaken.
When I ask who's seen what celebrities, everybody always seems to have met the Chuckle Brothers. I'm beginning to think CELEBRITIES have started stalking US! Arg...

Ooh - almost forgot. Another few 'lame claims to fame' - I saw Craig Doyle, that Irish travel show presenter bloke, walking down Oxford Street, Jade Goody coming out of a car park near Soho, and Graham Norton in Soho too. My Mum met Andy McNabb, the SAS writer bloke, and reckons he was very nice and polite.
i was at a table with a group of people and malcolm mcclaren came in and sat with us (he knew one of the people) he was quite rude and ignored everyone else, so i after a while i said to him 'how about an autograph'? he said sure - so i gave him mine!!
he said thank you, folded the paper up and put it in his pocket and carried on talking - i liked that - that he didn't get all huffy and indignant.
he was much nicer after that and i thought he was ok by the end of the evening.

When I was at art college in the 80's I was mad about Mike Oldfield. Not for long.
My friend and I had tickets to see him play at the guildhall in Portsmouth. We went into a bar nearby for a pre-concert drink - and there he was at the bar. We nudged each other and giggled as teenagers do and batted our eyelids at him, but he glared at us as if we had just crawled out from under a stone. How to alienate your fans in one easy lesson!
I also saw Bob Geldof getting cash from a machine in Commercial Road in Pompey and more recently, Bill Oddie on the Isle of Wight Ferry, trying to appreciate the trip, but being pestered by fellow travellers!
