hello i am going to newquay this summer and as soon as i mentioned this to an 'experienced' friend, their answer was, ''yeh but arent the bars real stingey about ID there'' is this true? not that im underage, just umm, a couple of my friends are, cough cough.

I hope they are, and if you and your friends are underage I hope you all get banned! You kids think that getting drunk and/or taking drugs is the only way to enjoy life! You will just make fools of yourselves, and end up with rotting livers. Look for other ways to have fun and save your health and your money!!

Khelil didn't say anything about drinking to get drunk OR even mention taking drugs so I do think that you've stereotyped and over reacted a little here.

khelil - for what it's worth, I have heard that yes they are quite strict on ID there and everywhere now is bringing in the 'Under 21' rule. Have a great holiday anyway!

If YOU are old enough to bus drinks, then what is the problem. You go to bar and buy the drinks every time. You charge your underage companions the cost PLUS 25%. Result everyone is happy but you come out winning.
