I did once frown on a wheelchair user in Ilfracombe. She came up behind and bellowed "If you lot want to keep your ankles, you'll get out of my ------- way".

I am thinking about getting an invalid scooter. Apparently I can drive on the road in those..without paying tax, MOT and insurance. Yippeeeee!
because there are people that need them but people like you have taken them to play in
Because if they walked they would lose their Disability benefits.

I hope this does not cause offence to GENUINE disabled people.
My husband ended up in one for 3 months. I can assure you it really isnt that much fun to be stuck in one when you can't walk!
get a skateboard because you sound like a big kid!
My wife uses a wheelchair because she has had ME/CFS for over twenty years. She is able to walk for very short distances only ,so will get out of the wheelchair and walk around a shop display ( say 15 yards) before having to sit down again. She is disabled - not crippled.
I've recently been told I have MS, and now I'm getting a little bit more faced with the fact that one day I may end up needing a wheelchair, I am shocked at the level of stupid comments about peoplr who use them. I work for an office furniture company, and the MD was moaning yesterday about having to have low levels of reception counters for people with wheelchairs.

And now this.

Grow up and stop being so stupid all of you who made silly comments. If people who can walk use wheelchairs it's because they can't walk very far, or they aren't very steady on their feet. I'm sure it's not an easier way of moving around.

Now can we drop it please.

Thanks very much.
