The Rush ot get off...

Why is it on an aeroplane almost as soon as the plane touches down do people jump up and start getting the bags and coat and stuff, then stand in the isle muttering about the doors not opening?
I sit and read my book for another 5 - 10 mins, the isle clears, I get up get my bag and walk off.
I once did this and as I walked to the bagage belt, my bag followed me round, I grabbed it as I left, and never missed a step to the exit.

Thats why!
Also if you press the button in a lift loads of times really quickly it will come faster.

they are the same lot who jump up and leave the cinema before the lead actors name has even reached the top of the screen
i always wait and have a few time been one of the lucky few to catch the little extra bit of film some movies makers put on after the credits.
i can't understand people who stand at a pelican crossing and when i get there i realise they haven't even bothered to press the button at all!!
it is often young men who think they are too hard to need help to get across the road...
