How did the Student ABers do?

And how come on TV when students are seen opening their results envelopes, they've all got straight 'A's? Why do we never see the ones that collapse in tears with no pass in any subject?
I reckon on TV it's all a con, they know the results already. The other morning a student was seen opening her results envelope and grinning. The presenter exclaimed "Well done! Five 'A's" - without even looking at what was shown on the letter. A dead give-away!
